Running an Integrious Business in Late Stage Capitalism

  • Ethos Yoga 113 South Saginaw Street Holly, MI, 48442 United States (map)

As a business owner, is it possible to run an integrious business in late-stage capitalism? We all need to survive in the current paradigm we find ourselves living in, and that requires money. This fact cannot be ignored. However, can we do so while simultaneously building something different, more aligned to nature's rhythms and humans' innate need to be in a meaningful community?

What would business look like through a relational model, serving the web of life, rather than an extractive one?

These will be the topics of discussion in this 3 hour conversational workshop. Along with some immersive activities to get you thinking in a more co-creative way, understanding your "why” and what drives you.

Explorations include:

  • Moving from an individualistic mindset toward relational

  • Making decisions based on purpose rather than ego

  • Our personal relationship with money and how that has been skewed by capitalism

  • How does your business feed into capitalistic colonialism

This workshop will be 3 hours, with time for a break.

The exchange is $50, which will include resources to take home for further exploration of this topic.

Facilitators: Randie Bowler & Caitlin Wilkinson
