In this workshop, we'll be working on building the strength and confidence to get upside down in our inversions. We'll primarily be working forearm stand and handstand and even touching on pressing. We'll touch on drills to build strength, alignment, tips/tricks, and mindset.
**Crow & headstand are a prerequisite to this course. Intermediate-level students, please.

My name is Kelsie, also known as KelsYogi. I found my way to yoga after a very surprising open heart surgery in 2015. It rocked me to my core, and I needed to find myself again. Thankfully, yoga gave me that...and now I want to help share that with all of you. So grab your mat, come move, breathe, rest & restore. I was trained in the Ashtanga/Vinyasa style. And while I love that and practice it often, I specialize mostly in Inversions. Inversions are any posture where your head is lower than your heart. So while this could be considered postures like Downward Facing Dog and a standing Forward Fold, I really mean postures like Headstand, Forearm Stand & Handstand. However, I also love all the Arm Balances, like Crow, 8 angle, Grasshopper, Firefly, and L sit. I'd love to help you find your inner strength to hold yourself up, not just on your mat, but in life.
